A very grandoise building overlooked the avenue flanked by statues, a pathway draped with the most luxurious carpet that marked the Republic's decadence as the vastness either implied overcompensation on the part of the governance, or merely a sign of affluence. Whichever it may be, the Republic is anything but that, often finding itself struggling and in perpetual poverty as a result of their own poor decision making, and inefficient bureaucracy so to say. But it was not Hamilcar's place to decide how the Republic oughta run itself, as he has given up the path of ambition long ago when he was inducted into the Order, rather it is his task to safeguard the peace and prosperity of the Republic.
His visit was abrupt and unscheduled, as he was called in at short notice to the Senatorial building to merely observe proceedings, before departing. Finding no love for politics as nothing much could be resolved, but he picked up a few gimmicks he has seen the senators tended to employ, though dishonest it may be, sometimes a few eggs must be broken to make an omelette, and ultimately the path to peace is realized as a result. An interesting study at the moment, but best he does not dwell in excess, for to lack moderation, and to go unto extremes is the path leading to the Dark Side. The Light Side contrary to many beliefs and opinions, is NOT one end of the spectrum, but merely the balance of the force, finding harmony and serenity in it.
Nonetheless, he stepped out of the senatorial plaza and towards the statues, taking large strides as he walked in a rather erratic pattern, swaying left to right, right to left, and sometimes left to left, without rhythm. Taking his stroll as his coat swayed from the wind that blew wildly and randomly. Jedi Master Hamilcar Lect the Echani thanked the fact he wore robes and a coat, as well as a pair of gloves, as he contemplated upon the many vintages of Coruscant, letting himself marvel in its entirety all of the plaza with the Force Sight, as he can see all around him and amazing himself for it. Though he can't fault himself for using it, as it is not against the Code to observe marvels of the world and to thank the Force for providing him life for it.
Currently, he strolls towards the fountain, and stops there. Brushing his gloved hands in appreciation as he sighs in peace. It was truly a serene day, as he tuned out the ambience from the surrounding traffic that flew overhead, and kept mindful of everyone that strolled by. He respected their space and did not mean to intrude, despite what gazes he receives, be it reverent or lustful.
